A Welcome to new visitors

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Here I will post pictures of my builds and sims and also links to where to find them.

A little about me:

Well, I have played The Sims since Hot Date came out to The Sims 1. My older brother introduced me to the game when I was 11 years old and I have been hooked ever since.

In 2004 when The Sims 2 first came out, I thought it was an upgrade to The Sims 1 so I was very surprised when I had it installed and it was a whole new game! It was amazing! I would spend hour after hour playing one family after another. And when university was released I would have a whole group of sims at the university in different dorms so I would switch between them all the time until they graduated. It was so much fun!
That is also when I learned about CC (Custom Content). I downloaded tons of it for my game and it was awsome!

Then in 2009 The Sims 3 was released and I was soooo happy! I had already all expansion packs for The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 and it had been a great run. Now it was time for a larger experience with open worlds, farming and building even wilder houses and sims.
And I loved the game! It was by far the best sims game in the series, even just for a base game, there was so much you could do! Again I would spend hour after hour playing and building houses.
My favorite way to play my sims was to have the life span set to max length and that way I had time to max out all skills.

In 2010 I was also made Moderator on the danish The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 Forums. It was a lot of fun. I spend hours going through pages, deleting old topics and doing other moderation stuff.
I also soon found out that when you are moderator you get free The Sims 3 games as a thanks to our hard work.

I have actually spend a lot more time on The Sims 3 than on any other sims game ever. The graphics were great and the gameplay easy. I liked the new lifetime wishes. Often I would not even play further than generation 2. I would just start out a new family since I had already maxed out the game experience with that family so what new was there to do?
When I some time later quit being a moderator, I fell behind on my The Sims 3 games. I  either couldn't afford it or I just didn't know they had been released.
In 2011 I took a break to start playing World of Warcraft. And it was a lot of fun, but I would always return to The Sims 3 at some point and start a new family and play that.

Then in 2014 The Sims 4 was released and I was so excited to start playing it. But as soon as I started the game, I was so dissappointed in the lack of things. For example there were no toddlers. I loved toddlers in TS2 and TS3 so I missed that a lot. Also no swimming pools. Thank god that was added later in a patch.

But what I was most dissappointed about was the lack of an open world. I couldn't believe that Electronic Arts would go from an open world in  The Sims 3 where you could go anywhere you wanted and still play all sims in your household, to a closed world in The Sims 4 where you could only play the sims that you are traveling with and the only way to control other sims in your hosuehold is my clicking the icon on their image and choose to either work on some skill or take care of them selves. I thought The Sims 4 was a mix between TS1, TS2 and TS3. I found the new way that they can multitask annoying. That they would take 1½ hours just eating a dinner because they would check their phone or just pause while eating for 20 minutes.
And all this meant that I stopped playing The Sims 4 very quickly and chose to go back to play The Sims 3 instead.
Then when EA started to release patches containing some content that a lot of simmers was demanding, I could see a glimps of hope for The Sims 4. I started playing it a little now and then. I had payed for it so I figured I should go ahead and at least give it a chance.  And boy did I start to love the game. I loved their emotions and how they interacted with eachother. Their walks and talks and the clothes were adorable.
I also recently learned how to scale objects and raise and lower them. Which you will be able to see in my builds.
